| HiI've just installed SQL Server 2005 on my local machine. When I try connecting to the server I get the following message:'Login failed for user 'Home-PC\RR'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456)'I am using the correct the username and password but still having the same problem.Does anyone know what the problem could be?Thanks |

| Do you use sql authentication? Ensure you use valid sql login which created in sql already. For windows authentication, you don't have to input user name and password. |

| You are probably going to have to go in under the "sa" login and grant access to the "HOME-PC\RR" login and give it sysadmin privileges (if that's what you want it to have).I geek, therefore I am |
