 error while connecting to SQL Server Management St

When I connect using SQL SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDION, i get following error:

The type initializer for 'AsyncWmiBinding' threw an exception. (Object Explorer)
Additional Information: unable to load 'sqltoolsvsnativehelpers.dll': Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005(E_ACCESSDENIED))(Object Explorer)

Please guide me to resolve this problem.

What os are you running on your m/c?
The access denied sounds a bit like you don't have permission to run it.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

Anyone made change on the machine? Can you load ssms on other machine? Tried reboot it?

Do you have other sql2k5 client machine? Try run ssms from them if so. If not, reinstall sql2k5 tools.

which sql2k5 tools should I install? and if I install sql2k5 tools then what will happen to database and my dot net application? will everything be right?

I have another client machine but sql2k5 client tools are not installed on it. I am new to SQL Server, please guide me that if i install sql2k5 client tools on other machine then which client tools should I install and how can these client tools will detect the sql2k5 on server machine?

and in case, if I have to install sql2k5 tools on server machine then which tools should i install and what will happen to database and my dot net application? will everything be right?

You can install all tools, will not hurt sql server at all. You connect to sql server in same way, no matter on client machine or on server directly.
