Hello All,

Can any one tell me how to import data from excel sheet to sql server 2005?

I have made table ready bt i dont know what i have to do for the above purpose.

Something like:


insert into table
select *
FROM OpenDataSource( 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0',
  'Data Source="C:\test\test.xls";Extended properties=Excel 8.0')...[sheet1$] a

Did you try with Import/Export Wizard?
