Hi,

I was wondering if anyone know how to do Dynamic Properties Tasks in SSIS? And, does anyone know how to create a global database in SSIS so I won't have to change all of the database names in my package? I'm sorry, I'm new to SSIS and I'm just really frustrated. Thank you.

The equivalent in ssis would be a configuration.

SSIS is a lot more powerful (and better implemented) than DTS. DOn't look for equivalents - treat it as a new product and redesign your system around it.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

Yup thats absolutely true. I've often heard of people comparing between the two though SSIS is a absolutely new product with new architecture and advanced features.
