UPDATE STATISTICS tablename (or index name). See BOL for more info.Edited - Sorry, this is for SQL 2000. Might be the same in SQL 2005. I should've checked which forum I was in Terry |

| In SQL Server 2005, I'd recommend using the sp_updatestats procedure over the UPDATE STATISTICS command. They both will accomplish the same goal, however sp_updatestats has been optimized in 2005 to only update statistics if certain thresholds are exceeded. |
