| Hi,is it possible to enable a user to perform changes on some SQL Server tables, but to disable the changes on the same tables via MS Access for this user?E.g. I can change a table on SQL Server, and me and some other users access the table via MS Access. I disabled the changes on the table by other users in general, only I can perform changes. But I also want to disable the changes for myself if I view the table in MS Access.ThanksKatarina |

| Hm, it would have to be a setting in access. SQL Server doesn't really care about which application you are using to access it. If the user logging in has sufficient permissions it will let you do whatever you like.--Lumbago |
