Jim writes "The log was on a seperate drive, which crashed without a backup (not my fault). Now Ent Mgr shows the DB as "suspect - an error occurred while trying to access the database information". We cannot "use" the DB in order to try to repair anything. I thought SQL 7 would recreate the log if it didn't find them, but the error log says "device activation error. the physical filename xxxxx ... Any thoughts?
