| I am trying to create a linked server from SQL2K5 TO SQL2K. Both the servers are 64 bit. I am getting the folloiwng error. ---------------------------------------------------------------OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI" for linked server "linked_server_name" returned message "Login timeout expired". OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI" for linked server "linked_server_name" returned message "An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.". -----------------------------------------------------------------I am able to successfully connect target server using linked server credentials.
