Hi all,
I am have database consist of 10 tables, I want to make log transactions for this tables, So any act happened on these tables, such as adding or modifying or deleting record, I want to put this information somewhere in the database, to determine the user who has done such acts on these tables.

I would high appreciate for any assistant.

You can do this via triggers on each of your tables.

Thank you for your response.

I am aware of the trigger thing; however, I had the chance to read EVENTDATA and DDL in SQL Server 2005. According to what I read, DDL can trigger all the tables in terms of structure not the data inside (Delete, Insert and update).

So, I was wondering if DDL can do the same but with data changing. Please advice.

You read about DDL triggers. I'm talking about just the regular triggers.

I haven't touched DDL triggers yet, but I'm very familiar with DDL as should any DBA be.
