Is there any limit on SQL server Multiple Instances? if we require to run 60+ Instances on single machine what will be the minimum hardware requirements.

You can only get 50 instances of SQL Server on a single computer:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143432.aspx

You can also get 12 freshmen into a phone booth, but they will generally not be too happy about it. Same with SQL Server. All 50 instances will be squabbling over the physically limited resources (memory, CPU, disk throughput, etc.)

Not a good idea to run so many instances on single server. you will get big performance hit.
