Kelley writes "I'm trying to set up a merge replication between 2 SQL Server databases (on the same machine). I'm using the Create Publication wizard to set up a new merge publication (I've already enabled replication for the database) yet when I get to the screen where you can check which articles to include, the column where I should be able to place a check mark is filled instead with a clock/stopwatch type icon. It won't allow me to choose any of the tables nor will the publish all option work.
I can't figure out what the icon means. The tables I'm trying to choose all have primary keys defined. I've tried the Northwind table as a starting point and it does work so I've tried to recreate the same users, roles, and table permissions. The database I'm trying to use was created with an Access upsizing tool-could that have anything to do with it?
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
thanks!" |
