HI Everyone

I was wondering if anyone can help me define isolation levels. What are they? How do they work? Why do we use they? What are the benefits of using them? When do we use them? And more specifically what are there sub-classes?

I know that that there is something to do with locking and serializability!? If anyone could help my plee I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks
Aetheran
