| Hi everybodyHows evryone today. Wonderfull day today isn't it??Does anybody have ant clue on what the f**k Triggers and cascading referantial actions are. PLEASE HELP IF YOU DO!!!!!!!I beg of thee to help thy understand as much as I can about these strange and wonderful things called Triggers and cascading referantial actions.What are they, whay are they used, when are they used, what re the benfits of using them? | Triggers are routines that are "FIRED" or started automatically when a certian action takes place..such as a DELETE operation or an INSERT operation. U can write a trigger and associate it with table for a delete operation for example..so whenever a delete takes place on the table the TRIGGER routine will fire and get executed.Triggers can be used to maintain refrential integrity. For example deleting children records when a parent record is deleted!HTHSalute.. |
