| Hi, Could anyone tell me if it is necessary to run DB REINDEX every once in a while? I do update stats as a part of maintenance plan. Lately I have had issues with some programs taking way more than 2 hrs instead of 20 mins. Is updating stats and reindexing related anyway?We had to update stats with full scan to fix issues.Any advise?Thanks,Sarat. |

What results do you get when you run DBCC SHOWPLAN against the tables in your database? (Run out of hours, this will affect use of the tables) |
