Iwant to know PORT number of B on A server.
Iam following the following process to get B PORT number.

1) Loging to server A.
2)Opened SQL Server Configuration Manager.
3)Opened SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration.
4)Opened TCP\IP properties of Protocol for B.
5)On that opened IP Address TAB
6)Got PORT number from TCP Dynamic Ports

Am i going n right way.
If not please advice me the right way to get port numbers.

Use this procedure to find the port used by SQL Server 2005 instance:
1. Launch the Server Configuration manager:
2. Expand the Network Configuration node and find named instance in the list
3. Right click on "TCP/IP" under "protocol name" and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
4. On the Properties screen on the "Protocol" tab, find the "Listen All" field, and note if it is "Yes" or "No".
5. Click on the "IP Addresses" tab.
6. If the "Listen All" field on the "Protocol" tab is "Yes", then the port number is in the "IPAll" section.
7. If the "Listen All" field on the "Protocol" tab is "No", then it is in one of the other two sections, depending the IP Address of the named instance is. Find the IP Address (use ping if you have to) and use the port number assigned to it.
