Hi,

If you have many recurring report subscriptions created and the server will be offline for say maintenance, is there an easy way to process any subscriptions that were missed while the server was offline?

Thanks

You just need to bring the server back online and then replication will take care of it. The data will be held in the publisher's transaction log while the subscriber is offline, so be aware of the disk space implications.

Hi,

I should have said, the Reporting Services database and the webserver are on the same physical box.

Thanks

That doesn't matter. Replication will sync everything up once the SQL Server Agent service starts since replication is handled through jobs.

So is this out of the box functionality or does the replication need to be set-up?

If you can point me to any documentatin that would be great?

and thanks for the quick responses.

I'm sorry. I competely misunderstood your issue. I thought you were talking about replication. I now see that you are talking about Reporting Services per the forum you chose. Please ignore my comments.

I would provide thoughts if I had any about this topic. But sadly I don't have the knowledge required to answer your question.
