I went to View Synchronization status and see that the sychronization has been running for two hours already. Is that normal? I thought it would just find the one change I made and update that one change?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on the size of the table and whether it is locked.

I'm new to replication so I am not sure. I just know that when I went to the View Sync status it was still running. I ended up cancelling it since it was just a test.

How can I schedule for sync to only happen once a day?

You set the schedule on the distibution agent when you set up a subscription to the publication.

But scheduled sync will not be faster.
