Hi -

Our current configuration has the data and log files on the same drive and directory. I want to move the log files to another drive and I was going to use the detach/reatach operations. Is this all right, or is there another/preferred method? I will be backing up the databases before I do this.

thanks

Yes detach/attach is the way to go for this.
