Hi

For an application (Rational ClearQuest) I need to duplicate a production environment. CQ has two databases, schema db and user db. Means I want to make an exact copy of these two databases, but on the same SQL Server.

Which tool shall I use and how can this be done. Detailed precedures are greatly appreciated.

Backup the databases and restored it to a new database. You can use SQL Server Management Studio to do it

Don't make duplicate database in Production server. You need to restore in UAT or Dev server.Database takes resources.
