| Hi There, This is my first post so hope everyone is well,I've got a problem at work. The IT dept has installed SQL Server 2005 express on my XP Desktop computer and i'm trying to attach a DB to have a look at. When I go to attach the DB I get the following message:CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.Infact, when I try most things I get a permissions denied related message including trying to grant DB permissions in properties, creating DBs etc. Now, I'm pretty sure this is a Permissions related error, however, i'm not sure how to go about resolving it. Should I tell my IT dept? would it be the Windows permissions I have? or is it something else?Hope there's help out there! Thanks |

| You need proper permission in sql server to do those things, ask your IT guys to grant you permission. |
