| Hi AllI am in the process of ordering a new server, and am thinking about the best drive configuration. The server will have 8 bays available so I am thinking...1 RAID 1+0 (4 disks): C volume for OS D volume for app install + page file E volume for sql log files (inc tempdb log)1 RAID 1+0 (4 disks): F volume for tempdb data G volume for data filesAny thoughts on whether this is a completely stupid configuration greatly appreciated (hopefully before I start the install...) |
