| Hi,Is there any danger of setting the recovery mode to simple if we are doing no log shipping and the transaction log is truncated every night anyway?Cheers D |

| it depends how crucial your data is? if you need to restore from a backup tomorrow will you get sacked coz you can't give them anything more recent that the last full backup?Em |

| well we aren't shipping the logs anywhere so if the server went bang all we could give is last nights backup anyway. |

| But you can backup log to remote location with full backup, otherwise how to get last nights backup. |
