Hello,

I have made a DTS package which returns my query results into an excel sheet. Works fine, but some fields have more then 255 characters. In excel i only see the first 255 characters, i can not change in the destination part of my DTS package the size of 255 chars... Is this possible to change or an failure in Excel ?

Thank you....

255 is the character limit for an excel cell prior to 2007. so you can either upgrade or split your source column into 'chunks' of 255 characters before you send it out to excel 2003
