How can we handle tempdb full situation?Steps to solve the problem?

1. Add disk space so that you have enough space to satisfy your system.
2. Optimize your queries.

I've got to admit, Tara's second item can be critical. I've seen end users TRY and create a query within the application (PeopleSoft in my case) and through their inexperience and lack of knowledge about the table relationships\keys, totally bring SQL server to it's knees. The only option we had was to restart SQL, which recreated tempDB. Immediately after the restart was complete, we began restricting which users had query access.
