| Hi experts,I have the SQL 2005 Express and is behind the domain and user can access the database Enginee to my SQL NETWORK SERVER using windows authontication, and now the problem is REPORTING service since i can able to browse the REPORTING SERVICE on the INTERNET explore using host name or ip address; on the clilent machine MS SQL server Managment Studio, user can not have access the reporting service and the error is "TITLE: Connect to Server------------------------------Cannot connect to OCEAN-SQLSERVER\OCEANINSTANCE.------------------------------ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:A connection to the report server failed. Most likely, you do not have permission to connect to the computer. You should either try to connect using a report server URL for the Server name, or if the Distributed COM Users group exists on the remote computer, verify that you are a member. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.UI.RSClient)Also, on the MS SQL server managment Studio 2005, i can not see the OPTION called NETWORK SERVER where you can select the NETWORK Database or Reporting services.I would warmly thankning who would share the exprt knowledge with me pls.Regards, |
