Guys

I have a pplication running on SQL Server 2005 box. SA password is known to no one, it is secured, so application is using its custom login.

Now when I run profiler with other counters including (46: Object:Created), I getting lots of entries with this counter and under SA name.. why is this?

Databaseid attached to it is 2 which is Tempdb

So which process is causing Object created entry under SA account?

Many Thanks and appreciated your quick response and reading.

What SPIDs are associated with this? I would suspect that this is some sort of housecleaning that the system is doing (which would be reinforced, if the SPID is less than 50).

Hi, Many thanks for your reply.
SPID is less then 50 between 15 and 30, all random. So I still didn't understand which could be the reason behind this?
Can you please explain in detail?
Many Thanks

All of the SPIDs below 50 are system processes. These are not users connecting, but are only there to give you more information about how SQL Server is "feeling". Personally, I would not worry about those SPIDs, because they are not under your control, unless you really want to break something.

I do understand this, but is there way to capture which application is kick starting those system processess, this is not happeneing on other systems by same application.. That's why I am bit worried

I have auditing process which runs every month and checks for Count 46 (Object created) and others.. now there are thosands of enteries under SA for 46, which is bit of concern for me..

Any help to understand those process or to stop those housekeeping....

Many Thanks

Thos eprocesses are started by sql engene, app can't start them at all. Sql will create temp objects in tempdb when performs sorting, join, online indexing and so.
