Good morning everyone,I had this problem previously and posted it in another forum. I am installing SQL Server 2005 and all components including SSIS,SSAS, SSRS, etc. I also need to enable/activate IIS.I went to control panel, then clicked on Windows Features. In the resulting dialog, I clicked on IIS and all the sub nodes in the tree, then clicked okay.I then proceeded to install SS 2005, Report Server is still greyed out. I checked to see if IIS was in the task manager, services tab and it is there and running. When I went through this exercise Tuesday night on my desktop it worked fine and was able to get Report Services installed.I am at a loss. Any help, would be appreciated....Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. |

| Did you reboot after changing for it to take effect? Is it for Vista? |

| Yes I did reboot, several times...Thanks for the reply... I forgot to note that in Task Manager IIS does show up as a running service...Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. |
