| I have created a new sql server 2005 database that I want to use for several applications to be built in the future. I would like to create the tables for each application with their own schema. For example, tables used by the employee directory will have a schema like: Directory.Employees, Directory.Table2, etc. instead of DBO.TableName.How do you do this? |

| Create the Directory schema and then when creating the objects, specify the two-parting naming convention: SchemaName.ObjectName.Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/Subscribe to my blog |
