| Can you elaborate on your question? I assume you want more information on how you can setup authentication to SQL Server. If that is the case then you can use Windows authentication or mixed authentication. Mixed allows you to use both Windows and SQL Server authentication. |

| It's a bit of an open ended question....I suppose it might be possible for some specific case, such as an employee directory. Most professionals would agree that in general it is not a good idea, though. |
