I have a database with 5 table in Mssql 2005.I have lost all data(800 records) in the important table. I didnt understand anything. I have not done anything.
1)When and why do this type of event occur?
2)Is the any chances to get back records.

The database is in full recovery mode.. I have just .mdf and log.ldf file , no backup...

Please help me!

There is no way to recover data without backup. Check out Luminent Log explorer since you are in Full Recovery model.

As for how it happened, someone deleted the records. SQL doesn't randomly delete rows from tables without someone issuing a command to do so. If you have cascading delete on on the foreign keys it's possible something was deleted from a parent table.

And get a backup strategy.

I have no a connection beetween tables. Just a primary key for prevent double records.

Someone may make a mistake but they dont wanna take responsibility..

I found a software called Sql Server Recovery Toolbox. I see some records but it's demo verison and expensive program for me.

May I find the full version of it??

Are you asking for a pirated copy?

There are a couple of other log readers out there that may work. Google should get you the sites.

Problem is, if you have absolutely no database backup ever the DB will be behaving like simple recovery mode and the logs will be getting auto-truncated on a regular basis.

I was so late to recover it. The new records started to enter the system from the beginning.

I understand that there is no way to recover databases without backup.

Thanks for your help..
