| Hi everyone I am a newbie. I have one question.I want to check the log files. So whenever any data modification happens in the database, it is written in the transaction log. So how could we check the log files? I want to know what updates had happened in the log, what are the data added, what are deleted. Is there a direct method to look at the log files or I have to use any 3rd party tool? And what are the steps involved in it.I would really appreciate if you could tell me how to do that.Thank You. |

| I'm wondering why you want to buy tool for looking at log files. I understand your objective but logging depends on database recovery model settings it may not log everything. You can set up a light weight black box trace to capture code. |
