we are runing a web application and one page when we want to reset a job, it gives error message. we are calling a stored procedure remote from the web application. i checked @@servername , it looks okay. we have sql server 2000
Any help on this is appreciated.

"An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)"
