Hi all,

I have SQL server 2000 sp4 problems after demoting old primary domain controller. Demotion process was performed smoothly and cleanly. The server itself takes about 2 minutes to query a single table against a few seconds prior to demotion pdc.

Are there any dependencies between sql server and pdc ?.

Cheers,

SimpleSQL

There is no correlation. The only thing, I can think of is login time if you are using Windows Authentication.

Best thing to do is check sysprocesses output when you are selecting from the mentioned table, to see if the process (SPID) is waiting on something/ is being blocked.
