| Hello ,I have a huge database around 40 GB out of which 11 GB is being used currently . I wanted to know whether the reindexing and reoganisation , of the database ,if i plan , will reorganise the whole 40 GB or only 11 GB which is the actual data ? How does it work ? Any ideas ??ThanksAdmin001 |

| It will just deal with the 11 Gb of data.Saying that if it is very fragmented then you may be accessing a lot of extents.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
