Hello,
Log backup job in the logshipping is taking too much time to execute. it takes around 6 min to take the tlog backup of just 81kb file!!!! I reset log shipping 3 to 4 times but it still taking that much of time. Even i ran job forcefully but still the same. only when i backup log from Query analyser it runs in 2 sec!! can anybody put some light why LSBackjob is taking so much time.

is your T log backup file 81KB or the T log itself is 81KB?
How many databases do you have?

It also depend upon the link(Bandwidth between the machines). Just try copying some file between the servers and note the time.
