hi !I have set up a standby server by migrating system databases so that my standby server has same user logins as primary. I am reading everywhere the first step of role reversal as "Step 1: Transferring and exporting logins. First, BOL recommends building a SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS) package to transfer logins from the primary server to the secondary server and to resolve login SIDs across distinct servers"my question is : do I need to do this step since my logins already match between primary and secondary ? |
