For 3 of the last 4 days I have come in in the morning and SQL Agent has stopped overnight. I can get it to start again with no problemsBut no-one seems to know why.The system log just says "The SQLSERVERAGENT service terminated unexpectedly." The only thing in the SQL agent log is from when I have restarted it.Any one have any ideas on what could be causing this, where to look? Also, if SQL agent stops after starting a job to execute a package, will the job still be running ... our month end processing was running when SQL agent died this morning |

| I've checked the sqlagent error log and have just checked the archived sqlagent logs.sqlagent error log had nothing in it since I restarted it last time.last thing in the archived logs was database backup which finished at5:38 this morning. sqlagent died at 7:33. |
