Hi,I've SQLSERVER Maintenance job which take transaction log backup jobs every 3 hrs interval.Time to time I've been noticing transaction logs were growed upto 70Gb.I took manual backup and run DBCC Shrinkage TO SHRING AND BACKUP TO 3Gb. Is there any guidelines how big would be transaction log for any Database? How to determine Database X need transaction log size Ygb? What will happen if I restrickt size of transaction log file?Please advice. |
