I have several client pc's connected to a MSDE server. 2 of them, crash / reboot when they try to log onto the server. This happens not all the time. Only about 3 times a week, all the other clients are fine. I'm pretty sure my code is flawless. It must be a network/protocol setting or error. Can anyone help me with this one please? |

You might also want to check their MDAC versions. You can download the latest drivers here:http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htmIf they are running WinXP, then they need MDAC 2.7, otherwise 2.6 is fine. Look for the latest available service pack for the version you download. This may not solve the problem but it can't hurt and will at least eliminate version conflicts as the source of the problem. |

Both clients have Win98se, SQL Server 2000 Client Components and MDAC 2.7 installed on them. |
