Hi All, I'm trying to setup log-shipping between a primary-cluster and a newly built secondary for DR.

I'm following a white paper and beleive I've done all the preperation. However I'm stuck in the wizard where I click the 'Add' button to add a secondary. the secondary-server dialog-box top field in called 'server name', however, on expansion the only name I can pick is the primary.

I have registered the secondary in EM on the primary. I can ping both ways between the primary and secondary. And both use the same domain account to run their sql-services.

Primary is sql2000 sp4 enterprise
Secondary is sql2000 sp4 standard

... and just when I was beginning to think I knew this stuff :-)

Thanks again, so deep, I found I cannot use the wizard with a std edition secondary. I need to read-up on 'simple log shipping'.

SQl 2000 supports only Enterprise edition for Log shiping but 2005 supports in Std edition too.
