Hi,

I've 200Gb DB SIZE and users are noticing Month end processing longer than earlier since 3-4 months and every month processing time taking longer and longer. Please advice what to do.
Memory looks fine on server during Month end processing.I noticed couple of locks, what would be best way to fix such kind of locking?

ANy advice would be great. Does rebuilding the indexes help?
Thanks

Did you check with DBCC SHOWCONTIG to see fragmentation before you rebuild or Defrag?

Hi,

Do you need to keep same fillfactor during running DBCC DBREINDEX or need to change fillfactor value?

Any other suggestion?
Thanks,
