hi all

while trying to create a transfer login thru sql package i am getting the below error.
"cdw error message : your sql server service is running under the local system acctount. you ned to change your sql server service actount to have the rights to copy files over the network"

how to overcome the same

First off, don't be impatient. This is a free site with advice/solutions being freely given. Not sure about you but I have a job and a life so I'm not simply sitting, waiting to help someone.

Your service needs to be running with a domain account, which needs appropriate rights to the network share you are trying to copy to. Change the account running the services to a domain account, stop and restart the service and you should be fine..
