Hi friends,I have a similar situation which is like on http://www.developmentnow.com/g/114_2006_9_0_0_821091/merge-replication-and-rollback.htm page. I use SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition for publisher and SQL Server 2005 Express Edition for all (pull) subscriptions. We developed our .net windows application regarding this article. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms147890.aspxEverything works fine until now. But, can't i use transaction on merge replication. Because my (average) replication duration is 5min. (yeah big data traffic :)And sometimes our connection is dropped during the synchronization. And we have foreign key/unique index tables. So, data dismathc will occur and we want to rollback transaction by ourself. But i can't figure it.I can't believe that there is no transaction support in Merge Replication. There must be a way? If there isn't, it is so useless for real life!Regards. |
