| I have 3 reports which can be jumping each other. I have parameter used for all these reports. The paramter is prompting if i'm clicking directly. it is not prompting and throwing error The 'parameterName' parameter is missing a value if i'm accessing from other report as a link. This is wroking fine in Report design but not working Reporting Services.Is there any solution for this issue?.Thanks |

| are you passing this parameter a value while navigating from first report? also if parameter is using a dropdown with set of values (using from query option and linked to dataset), are you sure, the value you pass is one among the listed values? |

| The parmater is used stand alone of navigated report with single value. User required to pass the value for getting the restult. |

and when are you getting this error?after passing a valid value? is parameter input free textbox or dropdown? |

| when I'm clicking the link/navigated report is giving me this error. The paramter is free text box. I'm not able to see the promt text for entering the value. |

ok. can you check what value its trying to pass in url for parameter when you navigate(from address bar) |
