Duncan writes "I am running SQL7 Service pack 2 on a WIN2K Cluster.
I set up a maintenance plan using the MSSQL7 database maintenance plan wizard.
The wizard created three distinct jobs - for the Integrity Checking Job I had checked:
Check database integrity, and Attempt to repair any minor problems.
Virtually every day the job fails, generating the following error message,
"sqlmaint.exe failed. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 22029). The step failed."
I can't find anything relevant when searching MS Support with that error, other than Service Pack 3 will keep the database from converting to SingleUser mode when the error occurs.
Please solve this annoying mystery. " |
