| This question has cropped up before a few times. I believe it can be done but is NOT recommended. There is just to much that can conflict between the two for it to be worth persuing this scenario.===========Paul |

| There are no significant problems at all (and I can't think of many insignificant ones). However obviously the 2 instances will compete for server resource (CPU/MEM/IO etc) and this is why it is not recomended in a production environmet. The only caveat is that the SQL7 tools on the server will no longer function - you need to use the 2000 tools.HTHJasper Smith |
