hi all

i have 2 different sql servers(sql 2k) with 70 databases each... i want to make it as one server...pl let me know the steps to follow

Your comments is not clear. Is it mean to put 70 database in one server and synchronisation to other

no not like...the two different server's database to be restored in one server...with the same roles what they have in the earlier...

it will be around 1 gb some db may 2 gb but not exceed 3

we are providing some host space to customer in server...beyond that i am not have to give more details

I'd highly recommend using multiple instances rather than putting them all in one so that you can reduce the amount of time it takes to perform maintenance on the instance such as backups, statistics, etc. I probably wouldn't go over 20-40 database per instance.
