| Hi all. I try to restore a DB of SQL 2000 on a new box it create the logins but all are created with no Password, how I can to restore the lasted password storage ?? |

| Logins and Passwords are not stored in individual databases, but rather are in the master database. You might want to read this article from Microsoft on How To Transfer Logins and Passwords Between SQL Servers for some tips that might help you, assuming you still have your master database. |
