I have a new developer that has inherited quite a few DTS packages that do everything from executing .exe files to calling stored procedures, ftping files , etc.. On our Production SQL Server, he has read-only everything. Problem is, he could not see the JOBS under the SQL Server Agent. I gave him access by making him a member of the TargetServers Role in the MSDB Database but now I need to grant him access to view DTS Packages in Production as well (VIEW being the operative word) Can anyone help me out? |

I guess if you have saved that DTS package in Structural file share and gave him access,he would be able to see it. |
