Hi...
I'm using SQL2K on Windows 2003 AS.
While registering the SQL server through Enterprise Manager, it gives following error.....
"SQL server registration failed because of the connection failuer displayed below.Do you wish to register anyway?
SQL server does not exist or access denied.
ConnectionOpen(connect()) "

check whether the server exists, try to check the connectivity by pinging the server name or ip address. also check whether the user name and password are authenticated
